Getting There

There are a few options for getting to Skyros, you can get there from Athens or Thessaloniki. The most economic and best routes are from Athens. Unless you plan to go to Thessaloniki regardless, we recommend using Athens as a mediator to get to Skyros. 

ATHENS to SKYROS by airplane

The simplest and easiest way to get to Skyros is by flying from Athens Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) to Skyros Island National Airport. The flight time is 40 minutes. There is generally 1 flight a day from Athens to Skyros and 1 flight from Skyros to Athens. Please be aware that some dates won't have any flights available.

KIMI to SKYROS by ferry

You can also get to Skyros by Ferry from Kimi (A port town located in Evia) Getting to Kimi by car is roughly a 2.5 hr drive. If you're keen to go on a road trip, we would recommend hiring a car from Athens Airport and driving to Kimi. You can then take your vehicle on the ferry and to Skyros Island.
The ferry from Kimi to Skyros takes roughly 1.5 hours. If you want to know more about this, contact Katerina!
